Nicholas Minicucci, Jr. founded The MOLLY Foundation after his nine-year-old daughter, Molly, was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes. Doctors told her that if she watched her diet and gave herself a daily injection of insulin, she would be able to lead a normal life. More than twenty years after Molly’s diagnosis, the Minicuccis’ commitment to diabetes research continues today with the foundation and The MOLLY Center for Children with Diabetes and Endocrine Disorders at Hackensack University Medical Center.
