The MOLLY Foundation is named after my daughter,
Molly Minicucci Phillips. At the tender age of nine, Molly like
so many before her, contracted diabetes. Molly has faced the rigors
of diabetes, a life-long cross to bear. For the first 20 years,
she had to take at least two injections of insulin a day. Now she
has decided to take a new challenge, an insulin pump. The pump is
semi-permanently attached to her each and every day of her life.
Molly was promised a probable cure in 10 years-its now 28 years
later and we're no closer. That's why the commitment to "The Molly
Foundation for Diabetes Research (MFDR)" means a contribution toward
research. Let's keep up the fight - we will win!
Molly is now married to Trustee John Stephen Phillips. She still
lives - with care and perseverance along with a great attitude and
personality. She believes that one day she won't be faced with the
ugliness of the disease. Molly hopes to live a healthy happy life
with your help.
Molly's most cherished reasons for living a healthy and happy life
- her three precious children, Susan Victoria Cassandra Jane, and
Jack. They, together with her husband and family, are her biggest
fans and strongest supporters.
